Data Deletion Request
You can ask Technical Assemblage LLC to delete your Citylap account and the personal information associated with it at any time. This page explains what gets deleted, how to make a request, and how long it takes.
How to Request Deletion
Email us from any address and we'll process your request. The link below opens a pre-filled message — just send it. Including the email address or phone number associated with your Citylap account helps us locate and verify it faster.

What Gets Deleted
When we process your request, we delete the account information and personal data we hold about you, including:
- Your account record, including email address, profile details, and any password credentials
- The cryptographic hash of your verified phone number and its verification timestamp
- Your city-level location records and sharing connections
- Encrypted shared location content stored on our servers (which only you and your recipients can decrypt)
- Newsletter or launch-list signups tied to your email address
Most of your data — including your precise GPS coordinates — never leaves your device, so it is removed when you uninstall the app or delete it through your device settings.
What We May Retain
We may retain a limited amount of information where we are required or permitted to do so, for example to:
- Comply with legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations
- Resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and prevent fraud or abuse
- Maintain security and the integrity of the Service
Any retained information is kept only as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes, and is deleted or de-identified afterward.
Timeline
We aim to confirm and complete deletion requests within 30 days of receiving them. If we need additional information to verify your identity or locate your account, we'll reach out to the email address you contact us from.
